I am thrilled to be the head coach here at NTHS and work with such an experienced staff and supportive community to provide the best experience for our players! I grew up in the small town of Alta, CA and was a three-sport athlete at nearby Colfax High School. I received my Bachelors Degree in History, while playing four years of college basketball for the University of San Diego, NCAA DI. After graduating I was fortunate enough to play professional basketball overseas in five different countries (Taiwan, China, Ireland, Finland & England). My last year playing, I also obtained a Masters Degree in International Business Management from Durham University in the United Kingdom. Upon returning to the U.S. I coached basketball as an assistant for NCAA DII Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. I then earned my teaching credential from CSU Stanislaus, while coaching for Oakdale and Turlock High Schools. I am very excited to now be part of such a great community surrounding NTHS and feel at home back in the mountains. I truly enjoy helping our student-athletes become value-driven young adults. I also teach PE, History, and Leadership here at NTHS.
